License Agreement

1. Acceptance of Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User", "Customer", or "Licensee") and PDFAxis ("Company", "we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any PDFAxis software, products, or services, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not install or use the software.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, PDFAxis grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software for personal or internal business purposes.
The license granted does not transfer ownership of the software.
All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by PDFAxis.
3. License Types
Depending on the purchased plan, the following license models may apply:
Annual License
Provides access to the licensed software for the subscription period purchased.
Lifetime License
Provides access to the purchased software version for the lifetime of the product, subject to this Agreement.
Lifetime licenses do not guarantee access to future major products released separately by PDFAxis.
4. Permitted Use
You may:
- Install the software on authorized devices.
- Use the software for personal use.
- Use the software for internal business operations.
- Create and manage documents using the software.
5. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, or sublicense the software.
- Sell, rent, lease, or transfer the software.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
- Modify or create derivative works based on the software.
- Circumvent licensing, activation, or security mechanisms.
- Use the software in violation of applicable laws.
6. AI Features
Certain PDFAxis products may include AI-powered features.
When using AI functionality:
- Results may contain inaccuracies.
- Users are responsible for reviewing generated content.
- AI-generated outputs should not be considered legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.
- PDFAxis does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of AI-generated results.
7. Electronic Signatures
PDF eSign features are provided as tools to facilitate electronic document workflows.
Users are solely responsible for determining whether electronic signatures generated or managed through PDFAxis satisfy legal or regulatory requirements in their jurisdiction.
PDFAxis does not provide legal advice regarding signature validity.
8. Ownership
The software, technology, trademarks, logos, documentation, and all associated intellectual property remain the exclusive property of PDFAxis and its licensors.
This Agreement grants a license to use the software, not ownership of the software itself.
9. Updates and Upgrades
PDFAxis may provide:
- Bug fixes
- Security updates
- Feature enhancements
- Product improvements
Some updates or future products may require additional purchases or subscriptions.
10. Support Services
Technical support may be provided for active licenses according to the applicable support policy.
PDFAxis reserves the right to modify support offerings at any time.
11. Termination
This Agreement automatically terminates if you violate any provision of this Agreement.
Upon termination, you must cease using the software and remove all installed copies.
12. Disclaimer of Warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PDFAxis DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
PDFAxis does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFAxis shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Consequential damages
- Lost profits
- Loss of data
- Business interruption
PDFAxis's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the software license giving rise to the claim.
14. Export Compliance
Users agree to comply with all applicable export control and trade regulations when using PDFAxis software.
15. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which PDFAxis operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Changes to This Agreement
PDFAxis may update this License Agreement from time to time.
Updated versions become effective upon publication on the official website.
